Olawale’s journey began at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, where he studied English Education and graduated with honors (BA.Ed). This academic foundation laid the groundwork for his future endeavors, shaping his perspective and approach to life.
In 2014, inspired by his brother, Adeola Austin Oyinlade, a prominent human rights lawyer in Nigeria, Olawale founded the CRAY Initiative (Change & Resolute All Youth Initiative). This initiative became the cornerstone of his career, focusing on youth development and advocating for change on critical societal issues such as rape, child abuse, drug addiction, and cultism.
Through his platform, which includes the news blogs EksuGist and CrayTv, Olawale has amplified the voice of Nigerian youth, sparking meaningful conversations and driving positive action. His influence has been particularly felt on the campus of Ekiti State University, where he emerged as a renowned blogger in 2016.
In addition to his digital endeavors, Olawale is also a skilled craftsman, with a passion for carpentry evident in his interior company, Crafter’s Haven Interiors. Through this venture, he not only showcases his creative talents but also nurtures young artisans, sharing his expertise and empowering the next generation of craftsmen.
Known for his diplomatic nature and commitment to peacebuilding, some regard Olawale as a counselor or even a spiritual leader, although he has not officially declared himself as such.
