Olawale David Oyinlade is a dynamic individual with a deep-seated passion for creativity, inspiration, and positive impact. Born on April 18, 1996, in Akure, Ondo State, he has dedicated his life to effecting change and empowering Nigerian youth. Oyinlade’s journey began at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, where he studied English Education and graduated with honors (BA.Ed), laying a strong foundation for his future endeavors.
In 2014, Oyinlade founded the CRAY Initiative (Change & Resolute All Youth Initiative), inspired by his brother, Adeola Austin Oyinlade, a prominent human rights lawyer in Nigeria. Oyinlade’s career took off in the world of blogging, where he launched the news blogs EksuGist and CrayTv. His influence quickly grew, particularly on the campus of Ekiti State University, where he emerged as a renowned blogger in 2016.
Utilizing his platform, Oyinlade dedicated himself to amplifying the activities of the CRAY Initiative, with a strong focus on youth development. He spearheaded campaigns against prevalent societal issues such as rape, child abuse, drug addiction, and cultism, utilizing various mediums including social media, mobile apps, radio, conferences, and seminars.
His dedication and impact were duly recognized, with several awards conferred upon him for his contributions to campus life. Alongside his team, Oyinlade organized an award program to honor distinguished individuals in his region, ranging from lecturers to architects, lawyers, and students.
Beyond his digital endeavors, Oyinlade is also a skilled craftsman, with a passion for carpentry evident in his interior company, Crafter’s Haven Interiors. He opens his doors to aspiring artisans, sharing his expertise and nurturing young talent. Known for his diplomatic nature, some regard Oyinlade as a counselor or even a spiritual leader, although he has not officially declared himself as such. What remains unquestionable is his commitment to peacebuilding and transparency, qualities that define his character and guide his endeavors.
In addition to his interior company, Oyinlade is the founder of CrayTv, a media company that serves as a platform for his diverse business ventures.
